A Story of Cherished Love and Unexpected Loss

After 38 years together, Tena Raglin lost her soulmate, Ron, in 2019. This is her raw, honest journey through grief, faith, and family, and the hope she found on the other side.

Their Story Began in Kansas

Tena grew up on a cattle ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills, the largest intact prairie in North America. She met her soulmate, Ron Raglin, from Chicago's Southside, at college in Kansas. What followed was 38 years together, serving in education and championing justice, equity, and educational opportunity for all. When Ron passed away in 2019, Tena faced a grief that changed her forever. This book is her account of that loss, and the pain, faith, family, and hope that carried her through it.
